on monday i got very lucky. my intro to communication disorder exam was cancelled do to the internet being down at school. i really was not well prepared and was very lucky when i walk in to take it and he said to sign up for a different time the black board is really slow. i wanted to jump for joy but i did not want him to think i was not ready to take it hahaha. well now it is tom. at 10 so i need to go study!!!

finals week god help me!!! i took one today and have one tom and the thurs then SUMMER!!! i am really stressed about my micro exam bc i need a 80 in order to get  a C. so that i dont have to take it again and i can get into nursing school. but it is not looking good.

this past weekend was really fun our sorority had a formal on sat. it was at in on the hill and the band hillcrest played. it was amazing!!! we all went to my friend eley's house before for a pre party then we went to the formal and then all attend the bar, it was a good night.  then on sunday my brother had a honey do shower for his wedding, we had a crawfish/pool party.  my whole family got together and it was a real good time.  it was sooo good to see everyone and i am real excited about the wedding in june!!!

this week was very interesting. during easter i found out that i did not get into lsu nursing school in new orleans. i am ok cause everything happens for a reason but it really through my life plan of course.  but just today i decided to stay at usm and apply in the fall for nursing school in the spring of 2010. yeah!!! i also found two new room mates to live with chris and shane and we call ourselves three's company but the opposite hahaha. ok well it is senior day at the phi mu house so got to go!!!

this week has been very crazy there is alot of things i need to get done with school coming to an end. once friday is done i will have a little break to breath then sunday i will be very busy again to study for a lab test and write a lab report. then it is all down hill from there with just studying for exams and fixing one of my first two english papers. well i need to get back to studying so i can pass school.

this week was not bad i thought it would be b/c it was right before spring break.  but my teacher were very nice and had things due las week or not till after spring break at the end of the week. i am very excited about the break a few of my very good friend are going to gulf shores just like we did last year.  a week is not a long break but i know right after break summer is around the corner. got to go pack!!!

today was our philanthropy day for my sorority. everything went wonderful and it was really well organized. i really don't feel like writing anymore cause i am extremely tired.

this past week was amazing. nothing but party after party after party. i once again attended to extravaganza at the new orleans dome, which was very exciting. then i went to all the parades on st. charles and also went out after for two of my best friend birthday.  then wed. when i came back i went to a sig ep date party. rested on thurs. studied on friday for my nursing test on sat which went very well. then sat. was beach bash which is our annual spring date party. this was a good week and this week is all about studying.

last night my sorority had a grab a date which is when our sorority tells us out of the blue that we have two hours to find a date get ready and be at the house for a certain time.  we also get t-shirts too!  once everyone was at the house we got on the buses and head to mugshots.  everyone was dancing and drinking it was alot of fun.  was a great way to start off the week haha.  when it was over we all got back on the bus and went back to the house but me and my date did not want the party to end so we went BACK to the bar to finish the night.  the night was over all great but the next day not so good but i got through.

suprise

Last week i forgot to write on he blog so here it is... my friend has told me for years she has wanted a surprise party. so last week i decided to throw her one of friday.  i called all our closet friends and got food and "drinks" for everyone who was attending.  everything was going smoothly she had no idea until her room mate and her showed up at my apt, where the party was, at the same time.  but she still acted surprise and i later found out she has been knowing for weeks. everyone had a great time and we all went out after as well.  

I don't really care a lot about the inauguration.  I feel like I really don't have much say about it, so I just like to flow with whatever our leader is doing.  He won for a reason so I have faith that he know what he is doing. Ok so I just realized I do not have 250 words so I thought I would write some more.  I will be honest I was a little hesitant about the election. You know how it would turn out, what are people going to say and do.  But then I tried to look at it from a broader view and I realized that I was being ridiculous.  Both McCain and Obama had many amazing things to say and many changes they want to do for the United States and others.  That’s when I realized it did not matter to me who won because both of these men want to help the American people and all of us know that Rome was not built in a day and change will take a great deal of time and presidents. My favorite quote from the inauguration when he say how people think his ambitions are to big to handle and that people have forgotten what many of our ancestors have done in the past to get us to where we are today and he states,” what free men have done when imagination is joined with common purpose.” Overall his speech what absolutely inspiring and even though I may not care who wins out of the best two Americans in this country it is words like the ones Obama spoke at the inauguration that lead me to believe that he won for and reason and he definitely knows what he is doing!!

the first week of school went really well. i thought it would be hard taking 17 hours but i think ill be ok.  but one week down and a shit ton to go. i was real excited to see every one again and i am even more excited about going out tonight with everyone.  right now i am watching my favorite movie, forgetting sarah marshall, and just hanging out with a few friends. i don't have too much to say maybe more stuff will happen next week or after tonight going out hahaha. see ya!
